2022 Scientific Research Achievements Exhibition of the School of Physical Science and Technology is currently on display in the hall of ShanghaiTech University library.
In February 2022, the discipline of Materials Science and Engineering of ShanghaiTech was included in the national list of Double First-Class Initiative, which brought unprecedented opportunities for the development of SPST. The School will continue to actively undertake the construction of world-leading large-scale scientific facilities for Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center and pursue characteristic development in the direction of functional materials, bio-macromolecular materials, topological quantum materials, material characterization using large-scale photo science facilities and digital materials.
In the year 2022, the faculty and students of SPST published about 850 journal papers, more than 200 of which noted SPST as the 1st academic affiliation. Over 80 papers are in top journals with an impact factor greater than 10, and ~10 of them were chosen as journal covers and feature stories. The exhibition selected several representative achievements of the School's characteristic directions and display in the form of illustrations and text.
