Document Delivery Service delivers journal article and book chapter scans from material owned by our partner institutions.For the resources our library didn’t subscribe, you can request these items and have them delivered electronically through interlibrary loan system.

Document Delivery Service is fee based. Payments are currently made primarily through research group account transfers. Schools, research groups, and related units may apply for group accounts for document delivery; once the application is approved, they can manage the document delivery service on their own. Faculty members and researchers may apply for individual accounts separately. Graduate students may apply for individual accounts only after obtaining written consent from their supervisors. Undergraduates and other individuals with document-related needs may consult the library for assistance.

You must register and log into the Document Delivery System (http://dds.las.ac.cn/) before placing requests. Each school and institute has already created individual service accounts, you can contact them for further help as follows:

If you need to apply for documents in the humanities and social sciences, you may first use the Shanghai Library retrieval system or the CALIS Union Catalog public retrieval system to find the bibliographic and table-of-contents information of the required documents, and then send the relevant document information and your request to library@shanghaitech.edu.cn.
